Realme X7 Max, India’s First Phone With Dimensity 1200, and Realme Smart TV 4K Launch in India Set For May 31

Realme X7 Max is the upcoming Realme X7 series smartphone. The smartphone was supposed to be launched earlier this month, but Realme decided to postpone the event due to the Covid-19 second wave. Now, Realme India has announced the revised launch date of the X7 Max in the country. The Realme X7 Max is a rebranded Realme GT Neo, and it will make a debut in India on May 31st. It will be the first smartphone to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 mobile processor. Along with the X7 Max, the company will also launch 4K smart TVs in 43-inch, and 50-inch sizes at May 31st event.

Realme X7 Max: Specifications, and Features

To recall, the Realme X7 Max is the rebranded GT Neo that was launched a couple of months back in China. It features a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 2400×1080 pixel resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display also houses an in-display optical fingerprint scanner.

Under-the-hood, the smartphone packs a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC built on a 6nm fabrication process. It will be the first device to launch with the Dimensity 1200 mobile platform in the country. The smartphone boots Realme UI 2.0, based on Android 11.

In terms of optics, the smartphone offers a 64MP triple-rear camera setup with an LED flash. The primary 64MP Sony IMX682 sensor gets coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, there is a 16MP shooter for selfies, and video calls. The smartphone packs a 4,500mAh battery with 50W fast-charging.

Realme has also confirmed the launch of 43-inch, and 50-inch smart TVs in the country. Both these models will have 4K resolution with Dolby vision certification. These TVs will also have Dolby Atmos support. We should learn more about the features of these smart TVs in the coming week.
